Drinking and partying is a huge part if a Vegas trip but some people know that waiting until after the gambling night is over to do so is the smartest thing they can do. Everyone knows that when drinking we tend to have higher opinions of our abilities. This means that when betting drinking can be lethal to your pocket. You may tend to become a bit too cocky and throw all caution to the wind when drinking. In fact, why is it that you think casinos offer so many complimentary drinks?
It is simple really. They want you to loosen up and start pulling money out of your pockets with both hands. For this reason it is best not to drink at all on nights when you are going to be gambling. There will be plenty of time after the gambling is over to grab a couple of beautiful girls and head out for the night to tie one on. The casino is more like a place of business. If you are a stock broker and deal with a lot of money then you probably would not get drunk before going to work. That is unless of course you are the worst kind of alcoholic.
When playing at the casino treat it as if you are going to work and stay clear headed during the games you play. Not only will the cause you to be more cautious but it will also help you to make better decisions and to watch the other players more efficiently.
